Support for the Vela Family After Tragic Loss

On Tuesday, October 22nd, our community lost a beloved member, Jacob Vela, in a tragic accident. Jacob was a United States Marine veteran who proudly served overseas, a father to four boys, and a staple in the Goodyear community. Known for his hard work, Jacob offered landscaping services and always lent a helping hand to those in need. Whether it was volunteering or simply being a friend, his presence made a difference.

Jacob had a passion for riding his motorcycle, and it was during one of those rides that he was struck and killed on Estrella Parkway by the Goodyear police department. His untimely passing has left his family, especially his four sons, in a state of shock and grief.

We are raising funds to help support Jacob’s family during this difficult time. The money will go directly towards covering immediate expenses, helping to keep his boys on track, and managing the new bills that have come with his sudden and heartbreaking loss. Jacob dedicated his life to serving others, both through his military service and his work in the community. Now, it’s our turn to give back and show support for his family.
