Help Jacob with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
Donation protected
This fundraiser is for Jacob Grillo. I am a student at UCF in my last semester for Mechanical Engineering.
On January 28th, 2022 I had surgery to get my wisdom teeth out after having extreme discomfort the couple of weeks prior. 3 days before surgery I started to get a weird feeling on the top of my mouth when swallowing or drinking water. After surgery the roof of my mouth turned into a purple veiny (small mass) throughout my soft and hard pallet so I returned to my oral surgeon. He believed it was a benign tumor (small mass) that will require surgery to take out.
He was extremely worried what exactly this mass was. He took a needle and poked it to see if any puss or clear liquid would come out. After this we took a CT Scan on Feb 10th (my birthday) and then a biopsy on February 14th and sent it to the University of Florida pathology which is supposed to be very credible. During this time it Also put a lot of pressure on Jacob’s left ear and his earring became muffled and began constant ringing.
On February 25th, 2022 the biopsy came in and it turned out to be Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. We are raising money for Jacob for his medical bills, his treatment, etc. We thank you for any donation during this rough time for the Grillo family and appreciate sharing this and keeping us in your prayers.
