Help Jacquelyn's family celebrate her life...

On Sunday November 7th, Jacquelyn’s 51st trip around the sun was unexpectedly & abruptly brought to a close. This family lost its heart & soul and we can’t believe she is really gone. In searching for the best way to commemorate the sudden loss of our dear friend & community member, I reached out to friends and family for their words and tributes... We all struggled to find the right way to encompass the wonderful spirt of our beautiful friend. I've learned that it's impossible to give Jacquelyn the tribute here that she deserves because she really was that amazing, and was so many things to so many people. A truly exceptional person.
No one expected to lose our beloved Jacquelyn at such a young and vibrant age, especially when we all saw her taking such good care of everyone else. Now, it is our turn to take care of her. The family wants to celebrate Jacquelyn with the memorial she deserves... and that means, PARTY AT ROCKWALL*(see updates for this info)! As we know, she would not have expected anything less! Annette and Jacquelyn were busy building a life together, and during this time of immense grief, we need to make sure she is taken care of while she mourns the loss of her person. All of your contributions are greatly appreciated.
Here is how we remember Jacquelyn:
Jacquelyn was a mother, soulmate, daughter, sister, friend, co-worker, and perhaps one of her proudest titles: the Host of Every Party and the member of every committee. She never said "no" to anything or anyone. We will fondly remember her kindest gestures, her willingness to help, to give, to listen, to support... but at the center of her universe, it was always Luca. She was a Starbucks mug collector, a hardcore baseball fan, and fierce Little League mama. Luca and his love for purple? She loved that too. She volunteered without hesitation for the Meals on Wheels program, lending a hand with excitement. She was loyal and loving and always there with a huge smile and laugh.
Jacquelyn was the kind of DREAMER that took Luca to Morro Bay when he was obsessed with Finding Dory, or Route 66 because he love Cars, and to Denver to see the Rockies play because that is one of his favorite teams.
Jacquelyn was the kind of FRIEND who would get up at 5:30am on a Saturday to go get you what she deems were "the only decent bagels outside of Brooklyn" and then spend the morning driving all around town delivering them to you.
Jacquelyn was the kind of HUMANITARIAN that volunteered her time for causes like Meals on Wheels and Make a Wish.
Jacquelyn was the kind of REVELER who found so much joy in celebrating and bringing people together over good food and drinks.
Jacquelyn was the kind of NEW YORKER you'd want to stand in front of you in any fight!
Most importantly, Jacquelyn was the kind of MOM who made your Halloween costume dreams come true, arranged for drag performers to deliver you dinner, read with you every night, helped with your homework, built you a "man-cave," cheered on the sidelines and from the front row, and celebrated and loved you for who you are.
There are no words to encapsulate Jacquelyn's light and the lasting effect she had on everyone who met her. Her passing was sudden but her love of Luca, Annette, and her family & friends is enduring. Jacquelyn believed that it takes a village to raise a child and we are all called now to be that village for Luca.
