Help Jae (Oldest of a Single Mom) w 4-H Exchange

Hi,

With her mother's permission, I am setting up this fundraiser for my niece. She's the oldest of four, and her mom is a single mom working hard full-time as a teacher and part-time at a yoga center.

Jae has been working hard to save up money to go on a 4-H exchange trip to Costa Rica, but she's likely to come up short. This would be a great opportunity for her—and one she might not get to have otherwise.

Here's what she's written about her effort:

"I'm 17 years old and living in Idaho. I'm trying to raise money for a senior trip to Costa Rica through a 4-H program. I've been involved in other 4-H programs over the years including leadership positions in Know Your Government and 4-H camp. I have always been interested in traveling. I am excited to see new sites, experience different cultures, and possibly learn a new language. I want to become comfortable traveling to different countries on my own, and I believe the 2023 States' 4-H Outbound Program would be a good step toward that goal. I am currently raising money for this program through my part-time job, as a lifeguard. I am also currently taking an EMT course through the CTE center. Once I graduate, I plan on taking my certification and pursuing a career in the medical field."
