Help Jaime Reunite with Her Son and Seek Justice

Meet Jaime Johnston, a devoted mother and licensed pharmacist from New Orleans, who is facing an unfathomable battle to protect her 4-year-old son, Jrue, from alleged sexual and physical abuse by his father, Jamaan Kenner. Jaime's journey has been heart-wrenching, and she urgently needs our support to reunite with her son and seek the justice he deserves.

The Heart of the Matter:

In February 2023, Jrue bravely spoke up about the distressing experiences he faced at the hands of his father. Loving and protective, Jaime immediately sprang into action to safeguard her child. She has done everything in her power to ensure Jrue's well-being, including:

-Reporting to attorney who intentionally decided not to introduce evidence into Family Court proceedings

- Reporting the abuse to the police (New Orleans Police Department and Wichita County Police Department)

- Securing a temporary protective order (Orleans Parish Civil Court)

- Arranging for medical forensics and psychological assessments for Jrue (Children's Hospital of New Orleans)

The Hurdles:

Despite Jaime's relentless determination, she has encountered a series of overwhelming challenges that no mother should have to face:

- She has faced multiple arrests based on questionable warrants, adding to her stress and anxiety she was incarcerated for over 3 months from a false police report.

-Jaime was arrested each time having legal custody at the FBI building in Louisiana and calling 911 blocks away from Jamaan's New Orleans residence.

- There have been serious concerns about how law enforcement (NOPD and CPS) has handled evidence related to the case by Jaime and Children's Hospital despite multiple times reporting.

- Child protective services in New Orleans La closed the case prematurely, leaving Jrue vulnerable and returned back to his alleged abuser while Jaime was jailed in retaliation and harassment of filing criminal charges.

- Legal tactics and manipulation in Family Court from the perpetrator, Jamaan Kenner have led to Jaime losing custody rights of her son by false accusations of abandonment and false police reports leading to Jaime, Jrue's grandparents, and guy friend were arrested in October of 2023 for false Simple Kidnapping charges. Jaime and her family have not been able to communicate with Jrue and he is still subjected to abuse in the custody of Jamaan Kenner without an investigation.

Where We Stand Now:

As of October 2023, Jrue is still with his alleged abuser, and Jaime finds herself and family entangled in criminal charges simply for trying to protect her child while having legal and lawful custody of him in Louisiana. Jaime is now pending trial in Orleans Parish Criminal Court and the Judge presiding over our case ruled that no one investigated and protected Jrue. Jaime and Jamaan were never married as Jamaan falsified filings into Texas court in February of 2021 to obtain primary rights to Jrue and steal rights from Jaime while breastfeeding and then Jaime was under a gag order since. Jaime has never been proven to be an unfit Mother in any court, although the courts never acknowledged Jrue's outcry and Jaime's rights as an unmarried mother domiciled to Louisiana with Jrue. The situation has become even more complicated with potential conflicts of interest and recusal issues within the system in Wichita County Court in Wichita Falls Texas, making Jaime's fight even harder. Jamaan has been using a lot of connections, leaving Jaime and Jrue relationship to be a complete turmoil the last 3 years through Family Court.
