Help Jakob Talafua fight Cancer
Donation protected
Our dear Jakey has been diagnosed with Anaplastic large cell lymphoma cancer - a rare type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma that was only diagnosed in early January this year.
As you can imagine this news is devastating to receive as Jakob is only 18 years old. Having just finished Year 12 last year, with a generous heart and brave soul, he’s always the first to make you laugh and has an amazing ability to stay positive in any situation. He has such a strong passion for health, fitness and nutrition and works at his local gym where he is an amazing contributor and inspiration to the well-being of others too. He’s also been a member of his local Rugby League club for years where he has been able to display his talents and love for the game with his peers nationally. He’s always been a well-loved member of our community, to say the least.
To support our young Jake, we wanted to set up a page where people can show love and give support to him and his incredible family as we realised so many people were wanting to contribute in any way they could when they heard his news.
The support & funds will go directly towards helping Jake and his family with his treatments, including treatment costs, medication, travel costs, medical bills etc and to help his family as they’ve had to reduce their hours at work to take care of Jakob during this stressful time.
We can’t thank you enough for taking the time to read Jake’s story and we appreciate the love and support everyone continues to show at this time.
