Help a Hero Rebuild: Support James and Crowley After Tragic Accident

My name is Johnathan Small, and I’m reaching out to ask for your help for my dear friend James Dickerson and his loyal service dog, Crowley. James is a proud veteran who has dedicated his life to giving back, traveling the country with Crowley to provide service dogs to veterans in need. Through their popular Facebook page, Crowley Dickerson: Through the Eyes of a Service Dog, they’ve touched countless lives, spreading hope and healing to veterans and their families.

James lives in his fifth-wheel travel trailer, which serves as both his home and base for his mission. Tragically, while changing a blown tire on the side of the road, disaster struck. A mobile home being transported by another company came loose, hurtling into James’s truck and trailer. In the chaos, James heroically grabbed his friend Glen and narrowly escaped, tearing his bicep in the process.

The accident left James’s truck and trailer completely destroyed. His only home—gone in an instant. Crowley was shaken and bruised but thankfully will recover. Now, James faces an uphill battle to rebuild his life, and I know this man who has given so much deserves our support.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to help James replace his home and get back on the road to continue his incredible mission. Let’s rally around this hero and his faithful companion in their time of need.
