Help James Get to Memphis

Hello there, my name is James Dalton I have been lucky enough to have been chosen by the Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation(www.jsjbf.org) to represent them this January at the International Blues Challenge(www.blues.org) taking place on Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee. It’s an incredible honor, and while the experience will be unforgettable, and the rewards for winning or placing high in the contest are valuable, the costs for getting down there and staying down there are unfortunately high as well.

I am trying to raise funds to offset the costs of not just the flights and hotels, but to upgrade any of the gear I’ll need on stage and for the promotional/marketing materials I’ll need.

The International Blues Challenge is not only a contest featuring the best blues musicians and performers from around the world. It’s also a festival and even a trade show, with panels and workshops, industry meet and greets, etc. There is no better place to be, for blues musicians, than to be on Beale Street in Memphis during the IBC.

I am in independent artist, a hardworking musician and a father. These types of opportunities don’t come often and I want to make sure I take this shot and really go for it. And I’m ask you to be a part of it.  Any amount is appreciated!
