Help James Jordan keep his teeth

James Jordan received some bad dental news this past year.

After having a salvageable molar pulled due to lack of funds, he learned he needed a "deep cleaning" (aka scaling and root planing) on all four quadrants of his mouth. Without this, he risks bone loss in his jaw and eventual tooth loss from infection below the gum line.

The pre-insurance cost of the deep cleaning is roughly $1600. His insurance will not cover any costs until June.

To make things worse, James also needs a crown to prevent losing another molar, and 16 teeth need old fillings re-done and/or new fillings.

He will likely need gum grafts once these initial issues are tackled. The situation and treatment plan will evolve once they do a more comprehensive assessment after the deep cleaning.

The pre-insurance cost of everything was estimated at around $10K. This estimate does not include the gum grafts.

Even once his insurance kicks in, it will only cover roughly half of any costs and only up to $1200/year.

If you know James, you probably know he doesn't like asking for help. (He was hesitant to "let" me start a fundraiser for him.) I'm trying to raise $5000 for him so he can begin addressing these problems and get his health back on track.
