James M. "Pooh" Simpson Funeral Expenses

Hi this is Talia Moore and Sherita Carthon the twin daughters of James M. "Pooh" Simpson. On the early morning of September 8, 2022 we got a call that our father passed away. To our shock and dismay, this was only a week prior to our eldest brother Curtis Stewart passing of Lupus.

Just to let you know a little bit about our father. First, he loved his FAMILY and friends! He spent some time in the Navy in his younger days and when he got out he spent most of his time serving in the community soup kitchens. His most notable job was being a manager at Speedy Muffler of which he later retired from.

He was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and often held reunions, BBQ's and gathers for family, friends and his East Side Cleveland Imperial family.

He loved to dress to the "NINES" and loved to COOK but most of all EAT!

His family is heartbroken at his sudden loss and the lost of his son Curtis. We have arranged to come together on Saturday, September 17, 2022 and Sunday, September 18th to celebrate their lives.

We are asking friends and family to contribute monetary gifts, cards, and resources to support his funeral and burial cost at this time.

For any donation of $75 or more we will be providing a T-Shirt with this favorite term "One Love" that will be worn at his funeral. Thank you all for your kind words and condolences at this time of our families loss. Thank you also, for your patronage.

FUNERAL: Will be held at the Greater COGIC Works Church (14805 St. Clair Ave, Cleveland, OH 44110), on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Wake: 10:30am Services 11:00am.
