Help James Ryder Beat Brain Cancer at Envita!

My Dad was diagnosed with stage IV Glioblastoma Brain Cancer on 10/18/2021. Before he was diagnosed he was living a regular athletic life, he even won a golf tournament a week before he went into the hospital for a brain scan. I noticed little by little he was losing some words which raised our families' concern. Never in our wildest dreams did we expect this outcome. We are a very close family who love and support each other. My dad is a great husband, a father of 3 children (James 42, Jonathan 32 and Myself 28), & a grandfather to 4 boys (Lil' Jim 11, Ethan 5, Logan 2 and Connor 5 months).

Earlier in the year, my nephew was born with Head Trauma/Brain Bleed and was rushed to the ICU for a few months. Just while we were starting to heal from this nightmare, my father was diagnosed with a brain tumor and was rushed into surgery on 10/18/2021. Once the Tumor was removed we were all praying that it was not cancerous. We all planned to help him recover from his open brain surgery which lasted 6 hours. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst of all the types. The doctor gave him a timeframe of less than two years to live. I cannot accept a timeframe being put on someone life.

I remember growing up and my dad was at every single event that involved his family. He always showed up. Heck, he even showed up to my Co-Ed softball game a couple days out of surgery because he didn't want to miss it. He always wanted the best for us, he pushed us to be good people and to be nice to everyone. Well, it's time for us to show up for him. I want to show up for him and give him the chance to survive. Give him the gift of life. Since I was a little girl I have pictured my dad walking me down the aisle when I get married. He deserves much more time, he deserves a second chance at life.
