My name is Daniel, and I am starting this GOFUNDME to help my "sister" Jamesetta enter the world after 42 years of incarceration. After the district attorney reneged on the plea bargain to treat her as the juvenile she was, she was wrongfully convicted as an adult, leading to decades of unjust incarceration.

Jamesetta is a strong, driven and Godly woman who has worked tirelessly to make the world around her a better place and to make sure she is a person who will make those around her proud. She could have spiraled into the darkness of a life spent in prison, but she did not. Despite the brutal prison environment, Jamesetta remained a loving, caring and thoughtful person, touching the lives of countless people, both inside and outside of prison, my wife and I being just two.

Having spent so long incarcerated, Jamsetta will need time to adjust and get her life together and find a job and permanent housing to contribute to a society she has not been in for over 42 years. To accomplish this, she will need help, and we are hoping you can be that help. Help acquiring the necessities for an independent life until she is on her feet and can provide for herself would be a blessing and allow her to focus on improving herself and the world around her instead of mere survival.
