Help Jamie Bird with expenses from her stroke

Hi, my name is Debbie and I’m starting this “Go Fund Me” page for my daughter in law, Jamie, who is 38 years old. A few days ago she suffered a severe stroke. She’s paralyzed on the left side of her body at this time. Jamie worked hard to become a RN Nurse, she graduated with honors, just as the Covid epidemic began. She and her fiancé both work hard at their jobs and are both wonderful parents who are raising a wonderful son. Jamie has given so much to so many, she’s a caring nurse, a wonderful mother, fiancé, friend, daughter and daughter in law. Anyone who knows Jamie, knows she a fighter and will definitely overcome this obstacle. But the bill are going to be enormous and even with insurance Jamie is looking at over $100,000 once she’s discharged. Not including the expenses to customize her bathroom, making it handicap accessible. Hopefully family, friends and colleagues will find it in their hearts and donate to “Jamie’s Go Fund Me,” page.

Update: Jamie would like to thank everyone for their support, encouragement and generosity during this time of recovery. Jamie worked hard at her therapy sessions and within a few months she was doing so well, her doctors approved her return back to work.

Because of the GoFundMe and all of you, she was able to use the donations for her hospital bills. She also used some towards her shower and bathroom, which looks lovely and SAFE now.

We will be closing her GoFundMe account, myself (Debbie) along with our entire family would like to thank everyone for their support, kindness and donations.
