Help Jan Carter Overcome Breast Cancer Costs

Dear Friends and Family,

i am not used to asking for help but i really have no other options.

I have been diagnosed with breast cancer and having a double mastectomy is the best choice for non recurrence.

we are reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request for support. As you can imagine, this has been a incredibly challenging time for me. The medical expenses, combined with the costs of two surgery's. The mastectomy and the reconstructive surgery have placed a significant burden upon me. My insurance will not pay nearly enough for a surgery that is needed. I am asking for funds to help with my medical surgery and living expenses for the few months I will be off work with no pay. Both the surgeon and plastic surgeon want a substantial amount down before they even start surgery roughly in the amount of $4,000. I am setting up a GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the up front costs, i need and possible up coming financial challenges. I am hoping with these financial difficulties out of the way i can focus on recovery without the added worry of mounting bills. Any contribution, no matter how small will be deeply appreciated.
