Hi, friends and family, it’s me Janae and I am writing to all of you in hopes that you can help me out. Navigating through high school this year has been an adventure and through this adventure, I have learned many things about myself. So with great hesitation, I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried out for the Dance team. Thinking I would give it a whirl I was overwhelmed with excitement when I read that I made the team for 2022-2023 school year. My enjoyment, however, was short- lived when I received the flyer about how much being a member of this team would cost. This is why I am reaching out to all of you. I am trying to raise $1000 to help cover the cost of my uniform, shoes, warm ups, hair bows, Dance camp and competition costs. I too have been trying to pay for the team by doing extra chores around the house to earn money to help my Mom pay for the uniforms. But, there is only so much that I can do and that is where I need your help. I know times are tough, but if you could help with any amount it would be greatly appreciated. This really means a lot to me to finally become part of a team and your help could help my dream come true.
