Help Janialia & Her Siblings Bury Their Mom

My name is Ja'Lise and I am the "godmother" to Janialia Roberson (pictured above in light blue) the 19 y/o oldest daughter of Shereka Elder (pictured above in pink). Her mother was murdered September 11, 2021 in her vehicle. This has been the most devastating time of Janialia's life. Shereka leaves behind four minor children and one adult child, Janialia. They are grieving this lost tremendously and trying to find a way through this new normal. In addition to the devastating loss of their mother, Janialia is her next of kin who is responsible for figuring out all her mother's burial details. She is a freshman in college, a first generation college student in her family. She is in school to be a social worker because she wants to help people, like me her godmother!

 

We are asking for any assistance you all may have to help with bringing their mother back home to Mississippi from Texas where she was murdered. Janialia also has to square away all her mother's affairs. She is not sure if her mother had insurance and what the details are but many decisions are having to be made immediately in regard to all aspects of life.

 

Janialia does have support from extended family and hopefully will have support from many of you.

 

We are firm believers of God and we believe He will provide for us. We believe He will use people like yourself and your friends to be moved to help with anything you can. We also believe many of us have not because we ask not.

 

These last two years have been tough on everyone and we all need a touch from our Father who is in Heaven. If you are able to touch this family with prayers and finances please do so.
