Help Janice a retired teacher after loss of Altadena home
Donation protected
Our mom was among the many impacted by the devastating Eaton Canyon Fire in Southern California. She safely evacuated, but her home—and everything in it—was completely destroyed.
As a retired teacher and widow, she has spent her life supporting others. In retirement, she volunteered to tutor elementary students, cared for her elderly parents, and opened her home to family members in need. Her house was not just her sanctuary but a place of love, generosity, and her cherished garden.
How Donations Will Be Used:
Funds raised will go toward:
Temporary housing expenses
Replacing essential personal items not covered by insurance
Transportation and other recovery-related costs
Medical or dental needs arising from the disaster
Any unforeseen expenses during her recovery
Our mom also plans to apply for FEMA assistance, and these funds will help cover needs not fully met by FEMA or insurance. Any unused funds will be reserved for long-term recovery efforts or unforeseen challenges that may arise.
Why Your Support Matters:
Our mom has always been the first to help others. Now she needs our help. No donation is too small, and every contribution will make a difference in helping her recover from this unimaginable loss.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this incredibly difficult time.
