Help Janis fight and beat breast cancer
Donation protected
Janis was just diagnosed with Invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer. Janis is a wife, a mother, a step- mother, a daughter, a friend, a co-worker, a sweet, gentle kind hearted woman who has been helping to care for her own mother who has been through cancer as well.
Janis's fight is just beginning. Janis had her screening on 1/8/2020, her diagnostic 3D mammo and ultrasound on 1/21/20, followed by her biopsy on 1/31/2020. Janis's doctors so far have discovered there are 4 masses not just the 3 she was originally diagnosed with. Janis met with her surgeon on 2/10/2020 and had an MRI on 2/12/2020. Janis is currently waiting for additional results from her MRI and HER2 biopsy to continue with the best course of treatment.
Both Janis and her husband Scott (My dad) are clinging tight to their belief in God's word and seeing how that word has taken on a whole new meaning in both of their lives.
Janis's verse right now she is reading most is, Psalms 46:10 "BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD"
Right now medical bills have already started to become very high, even with insurance there is a huge deductible that needs to be met immediately. Janis is the only one able to work currently and has already not been able to work full time anymore due to her condition, including multiple doctors appointments, needing to take off several weeks of unpaid time with her procedures and surgery. Driving to doctors appointments, and test appointments are adding to that financial burden along with needs such as housing payments, utility bills and basic necessities.
*Janis and Scott so greatly appreciate any financial help given during this time, most importantly they appreciate the prayers, support, and encouragement needed to fight this battle that they have helped others through themselves. Please consider even the smallest amount as it can make a huge difference, relieve stress and help make this journey just a little less difficult.
