Help Jared Through Recovery
Donation protected
The Velázquez family have remained strong while their son, Jared, was diagnosed with FSGF which is a rare disease that causes scar tissue to develop on the kidneys. Jared, who is a kind and determined kid, only 18 years old, had remained strong while going through kidney failure and hospitalization. At age 17, he was diagnosed and from September to five months later he had to be attending the hospital 3 times a week. February 11th he was called in for a kidney transplant and was rushed to the hospital right away. Now, Jared has been strong throughout it all and has been doing so well with his recovery. He hopes to attend college in the fall and get back to the hobbies he loved like soccer. However, at the moment he still has to make visits to the doctors regularly and the bills from months prior remain. Jared’s mother left her job since the beginning of the diagnosis to help and the father continues to provide for the household of 4. If you are in a place to donate, please donate to help raise money to help pay off the hospital bills. Jared’s story touched my heart, I hope it touches yours.
