Help Jarrod Fight Osteosarcoma Cancer
Donation protected
Hi there, thanks to everyone who has donated already! Jarrod is only 26 years old and has been fighting a rare and aggressive form of cancer known as Osteosarcoma since October. Unfortunately, the treatments haven’t been as successful as we had hoped. He went through several months of chemotherapy and even surgery to remove large amounts of the cancer. He is currently exploring other treatment options, but we don’t know what the future holds and with so much uncertainty ahead of us we are making our best efforts to help support Jarrod to fulfil some of the things he has always dreamt of as well as to help ease the financial burden his ongoing treatment.
At only 26 years old, Jarrod has had a tough battle so far and is still fighting strong. Unfortunately the chemotherapy had minimal success against this form of cancer. Jarrod has been unable to work due to the cancer being in his bones and he has been extremely unwell spending long stints in hospital. The treatment options he has left to him involve trial medications that unfortunately are not covered by the Medicare system. Even though the treatment is expensive we are looking into all options. In conjunction with the treatment and uncertainty ahead we want to help jarrod to get the most out of the time he has and do some things on his ‘Bucket List’ to take his mind off treatments and fight Cancer with Happiness! So we are trying to get some support for the medical and bucket list costs. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Jarrod is continuing to fight and we are going to fight with him and support him in anyway we can!
