help jas stay at spelman

It took me a while to figure out what to say here, and how to properly "tell my story", but I think I got it now.
My name is Jasmine and I am... uncomfortable.
I am uncomfortable with the fact that as a rising sophomore with a 3.75 GPA, who was added to the Dean's List and accepted into the Honors Program after my first year, I may have to sit out a semester. I am uncomfortable with the fact that many of my AUC siblings are in similar predicaments. It's unfair that even after all of the hard work we put in, how much we are worth to our institution comes down to if we can afford to stay.
Since my time at Spelman, I have not been offered any scholarship money, despite graduating high school as valedictorian with a 4.6 GPA and my achievements during my freshman year.
I plan to change this in the future. One of my long term goals, especially if I can graduate from Spelman in a few years, is to fund scholarships and grants for people like me. I would love to be in a position to pay it forward, but it starts now.
If you shared or donated even a dollar, I appreciate you so much! I just want to be able to finish my education, and I am doing everything in my power to do so. There is no reason it should be this difficult. Thank you so much for taking the time to even read this.
