Help Jasmin & Family Rebuild After Several Traumatic Events

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,
We are reaching out to you during an incredibly difficult time for our family. Recently, I experienced a series of traumatic events that has deeply impacted not only my life, but the lives of my family.
On the night of September 16th, 2024 into the early morning hours of September 17th, 2024, I was deemed a victim in a potential sex crime by the Austin Police Department. I was given benzodiazepines, a known date rape drug, without my consent while at PLANET K, my previous employer. Who shortly after terminated me wrongfully. Stating that “after everything that has happened, we find it necessary to part ways”. There is currently an open investigation.
On the night of November 5th, 2024 I got hit by a drunk driver who attempted to run. He was shortly apprehended by local police for a DWI. There is currently an open case for a hit and run as well as a DWI for the man.
Lastly, between midnight at 3am on the morning of November 18th, 2024, my garage was broken into by 2 men. They stole my car along with many valuables out of my garage. Not only did they get mine, but a lot of my neighbors as well. Luckily they were caught on video and a partial print was found at the scene. There is also an open case on the matter as well.
As we navigate the emotional and financial challenges that have arisen, we find ourselves in need of support. The costs associated with unexpectedly having to move, medical bills, therapy, security, attorney fees and recovery from missing work for over a month are overwhelming, and we are struggling to keep our heads above water. The list goes on.
We believe in the power of community and the kindness of others. Your contributions will go directly towards newly arisen medical expenses, therapy, new debts as a direct effect of the events, and helping us to focus on healing and rebuilding our lives.
Every dollar counts, and we are incredibly grateful for any support you can provide. If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing our story with your network would mean the world to us.
Thank you for your kindness and support during this challenging time. Together, we can find a way to heal and move forward. God is good. All the time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
