Help Jasmine and Housemates Overcome Mold Crisis

Hi, I’m Jasmine. Never did I think I would make a GoFundMe, but here I am! For the past half year, my house and I have been dealing with an extreme case of mold. What started as a bad “eczema” flare-up and constantly being sick, has revealed itself as mold poisoning. For months, we've had to miss work due to my eyes being swollen and raw on top of my roommates and me getting sick consistently.

We have finally moved into demo/remediation, but still need to be there for contractors, demo team, and remediations. I’ve been displaced from my home for over a month now, and I’m still required to pay rent, while my roommates are required to pay rent still living in the toxic house. While we understand our rights and what is expected of our landlord, none of us have time or money to fight it.

This has been one of the most taxing, stressful, and inconvenient times for all of us, leaving us broke and defeated! All of our bills are business as usual and we, as a house, are starting to feel the impact deeply. Asking for help is without a doubt out of all our comfort zones, but we need it. This money would create such a relief for us with bills and provide support for a queer home in need! I appreciate y'all taking the time to read and hear our situation.
