Help Jason Secure a Safe Place to Stay

Hi, everyone.

I’m Jason, and I’m in a bit of a hairy situation.

I just finished driving cross country from Michigan to Washington only to find out that the money I had spent on a first/last month rent and security deposit was for a fraudulent listing. I moved out here because I had to — i was losing my place to stay in Michigan, and came west for opportunity.

The money that I spent made up my savings, and, after placing my belongings into a small storage unit, I do not have much left and am afraid I am going to end up homeless in an area where I have nobody and no support.

I am seeking to raise money so that I can at least secure a place to lay my head — I have already begun networking and am working to find employment, but need help in the interim to find somewhere to go.

I have contacted my bank about the funds spent on the fraudulent listing — they are reviewing to see if anything can be done.

Any help that can be given is greatly appreciated— this is honestly a very humbling and embarrassing experience, and I’m not sure what I will do otherwise.
