Help Jason Stafford

Hi my name is Melanie Manos and I am Jason's fiance. About a month ago, he sneezed and started having back problems and was in alot of pain. We went to ER on September 28th and had xrays and a CT scan and didn't see anything, thought maybe his ribs and back were out. He started seeing a Chiropractor, and it seemed like he was getting better but still in pain. On Monday October 23rd, we went to the Chiropractor and after that adjustment, he was nauseated and slowly was getting worse. On Wednesday, he left work early and he said the pain was intense. He started to lose his ability to walk. Later that day, I came home from work and he lost the ability to walk, fell, and we had to call 911 and the ambulance came to take him to the ER in Jamestown, where they discovered through a CT scan, he has a spinal infection and had to have emergency surgery on October 26th. He wasn't progressing so they ran more CT scans, MRI, and an echo. They found he has fluid build up in his spine and some in his right lung. He will have to have major spinal surgery again to take out the fluid, decompress the spine and put in plates, rods, and screws where the infection has chewed away his bones. Asking for any help with medical expenses, travel expenses for me, we live about 45 minutes away. He has a long road to recovery, he will be in an acute rehabilitation facility for a period of time next to the hospital after he is recovered from this 2nd surgery.
