Help Jason beat cancer!

In February of 2023, our friend Jason saw his doctor for a routine physical and mentioned some GI issues he was having. An ultrasound completed on his abdomen revealed four potentially cancerous large cysts on his liver. While waiting for an official diagnosis he modified his diet, began meditating, continued going to therapy, and exercised regularly to keep his mind, heart, and body in a position to face the fight of his life.

Come April, Jason was officially diagnosed with STAGE 4 COLON CANCER Metastasized to the Liver. The doctors have advised Jason not to work because his treatments will include intensive 48-hour chemotherapy drips every two weeks along with three separate liver & colon surgeries. The three surgeries alone are estimated to cost well over $20,000 each and the average treatment cost for Stage 4 Colon cancer is around $140,000. Despite dealing with the stress of finances, Jason’s attitude has been proactive and he is ready to do whatever it takes to beat cancer and live!

You may know Jason as a brother, uncle, friend, choir nerd, music teacher, secret pool shark, non-profit volunteer, wine & cheese enthusiast, business owner, youth chaperone, or tennis player. Through these connections, he’s strived to make a better world by loving and giving with his whole heart. Above all, music has been a constant source of strength throughout Jason’s life and if you’ve ever heard him sing, he can touch parts of your soul you didn’t even know existed.

We are asking for your financial support to help him during this time of uncertainty. Jason has been diligent in filling out a plethora of applications for assistance to ease the financial burden while he is battling for his life. Unfortunately, the reality of insurance co-pays, chemotherapy treatments, prescription costs, everyday bills, food, and housing costs has only gotten larger since February. Anything given allows Jason to focus on beating cancer and going back to living a life that makes a positive difference in this world.
