Help Jason Winder get back on his feet after boat accident…

My name is Angel and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my brother Jason Winder and his two sons. Most of you know Jay as a waterman. He has worked the water since he was a young boy with our Dad George. George taught him the ropes and once diabetes made it impossible for George to work Jay carried on the tradition and became Captain of his own boat. He used to be able to take George out with him just so he could watch and be a part of what he loved. They did this until George couldn’t. Since then Jay has used most of his earnings to support not only his boys but our parents and let me tell you George could not be any more proud of him! Besides his boys it is the thing he is most proud of. Well on Thursday an accident happened and in the blink of an eye his livelihood was gone. He was lucky to walk away with just a few broken ribs. The local waterman, residents, friends and family have come together to try and help with the boat but due to the weather conditions it has not been safe. Fellow waterman and folks are volunteering and gathering together tomorrow to make an attempt to get the boat home. Please pray for all of their safety and give them strength Jason is completely lost as the water is all he has ever know. He feels completely defeated. He is a very hard worker with a huge heart! The best estimate to get it home was $10,000 and the Coast Guard will start charging $2500 a day after tomorrow and he just doesn’t have the means. He is now out of work until further notice and is a single father to two boys under the age of 5. As you know life and bills don’t stop coming. I know it is a tough time for everyone but if you have a little extra to spare let’s help Jay get back up on his feet.
