Help Jassiah Get Housing For Howard University

I would be lying if I said this was easy to write. But I’ve learned that in times like this pride really does nothing but harm; and I genuinely need any help I can get. Anyone who truly knows me, and even if they don’t, knows I love knowledge. I am passionate beyond measure when it comes to my acquisition of knowledge, no matter the medium it is acquired through. For those who know me from the past you know that being a student, and I mean a student’s student is something I LOVE and thrive off of. Currently, I go to Howard University. And if Im being completely transparent, last year was rough for me as it was for many. In a lot of ways and my passion for school faltered and ultimately failed, resulting in my suspension. But through God’s will I have been blessed with what I see as a second chance. To set both my new discoveries in life and my past love for school equal and concurrent. As hard as this may be, I yearn to be that student again and I will do whatever it takes to get back to that.

Due to my circumstances I will not be receiving financial aid for this semester and possibly not for next semester and I wasnt considered for housing either. I will need to get an apartment off campus which I am currently looking about, but I need help in terms of finding a way to pay for it. Honestly, ANY help anyone can give is appreciated to the highest degree. If we’ve ever had a conversation or shared something amongst ourselves I ask for ANY help you can give, no matter the amount. As hard as this is to write I genuinely believe that the people I know and love will support me in whatever ways they can out of pure and genuine love for me. I just hope one day I can look back at all of this and laugh at my youth. I wont let anyone who believes in me down. Thank you so much to all of you.
