Hi everyone.

My name is Jaxon Thomas and I have been invited to join a group of 30 students to attend USA Space Camp in October 2019.

Since I was young I knew I was destined to work within the space/aviation industry.

I have a very strong passion in regards to how engines work and the engineering behind them.

Moving states recently so I could attend an independent Aviation High School has given me the opportunity to be introduced to what the aerospace & aviation industry involves.

My ultimate goal is to study Aerospace Engineering at University and then work within the Jet Propulsion sector.

Being a valued member of my rocketry, Drone and astronomy clubs are teaching me the skills to enhance my knowledge also. Being a volounteered member of the Young Scientists Of Australia and a member of The AYAA has given me skills I can take forward with me in life. I’m also participating in the 4 day ConocoPhillips Science Experience in January 2020 where I will get to have hands on experience from amazing science educators.

Given this special opportunity to go to space camp and see first hand what amazing work can be achieved is a dream come true, I just need you kind help, support and donations to raise the $7,000 needed to get me there.

With the recent formation of the Australian Space Agency, by attending Space Camp I know I will learn amazing skills that I can use for my future mark within the space industry right here on our doorstep.
