### Support Jaxson Jones: Fighting a Rare and Dangerous Battle

Jaxson “Jax” Jones is an extraordinary 11-year-old with a love for Legos, fishing in Minnesota’s beautiful lakes, and exploring the outdoors. His adventurous spirit and boundless energy are cherished by everyone who knows him. But today, Jax is facing the fight of his life. Diagnosed with an extremely rare and severe form of Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP), Jax’s body is attacking his own platelets, leaving his count at an alarming zero. This means he is at constant risk of life-threatening bleeding and bruising.

Jax’s condition is so severe that surgery to remove his spleen—a common treatment for ITP—is not an option. He has been hospitalized for weeks and will remain under the close care of an Illinois Research Leading Children’s Hospital for an uncertain amount of time. Despite enduring numerous treatments and interventions, Jax continues to show incredible bravery and strength, inspiring all who are privileged to know him.

For his parents, Nick and Leslie, who are lifelong advocates of health and wellness from their collegiate athletic careers, this has been an unimaginable challenge. Balancing their love and care for Jax with the mounting medical expenses is a daily struggle. From specialized treatments and extended hospital stays to constant monitoring, the costs are overwhelming.

We’re reaching out to our community and beyond to ask for your help. Your donations will go directly toward Jax’s ongoing treatments, helping his family focus on his recovery without the constant worry of financial strain. Together, we can support Jax as he battles this rare and dangerous condition, giving him the chance to return to the life he loves—building Legos, fishing Minnesota’s lakes, and exploring the outdoors with his unstoppable spirit.

Jax’s journey is far from over, but with your help, he doesn’t have to face it alone. Please consider making a donation and sharing Jax’s story with your friends and family. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to ensuring Jax has the resources and support he needs to overcome this challenge. Thank you for standing with Jaxson and his family during this difficult time.
