Help Jay & His Family After This Tragic Robbery
Everyone who knows Jay & his wife Julie (The owner's of Ro's General Store in Cannifton) know he and his family are very kind, extremely hardworkers and have been in the community for years. They work 7 days a week to support their family. It will be very difficult for the store to maintain itself with family needing to be near Jay after this horrible attack.
October 16, 2019 There was a serious incident where two men attempted to rob the store and Jay was seriously injured in the process. These funds will go directly to Jay and his family and help them during this difficult time.

Paramedics, firefighters and city police responded to a robbery at Ro’s General Store shortly before 7 o’clock after receiving a 911 call.
Two men had sprayed an employee in the store with an unknown substance and when he followed them outside there was an altercation and the employee was stabbed and taken to Kingston General Hospital with serious injuries. According to Scan-Quinte the employee was in his 50s.
The men drove away going south on Cannifton Road North in what was believed to be a dark colored Hyundai car.
The first male suspect is described as tall with a thin build, wearing red pants with a white stripe, a camouflaged hoodie, and carrying a dark coloured bag. The description of the second male is limited to just dark clothing.
