Help Jay Replace Their Stolen Car

My only car was recently stolen, destroyed, and abandoned. This car has been my main form of transportation for years now for 5 years. On February 8th I realized my car was missing from its parking place. A couple days prior, my partner, Jo's car was broken in to and the thief stole my spare key from their glove compartment. I was told by police that most cars are found within the first couple weeks. A few days later, I got a phone call saying the police found the car in Oakland. I was not told the condition or circumstances my car was found in. After driving up to the tow lot in Oakland this is what I find. The thief drank copious amounts of alcohol, took my car for a joyride, wrecked it, then abandoned it. I am starting this GFM in order to afford to purchase a replacement used car. Insurance will most likely cover some of the costs, but not enough to afford a replacement car. I am grateful for the immense support I've gotten thus far from friends and family.
