Help Jayden on her path to recovery

Hi, my name is Laci and I'm Jayden's oldest sister. I want to first say we have so many people asking to help and we certainly don't expect anything from anyone -- but any help will help Jayden in this long road to recovery.

Jayden was a passenger in a traumatic car accident on 04/09/24 in Rapid City. She was placed in a medically induced coma and was life flighted to a level one trauma center in Denver due to the extent of her injuries. She has a broken arm in a few places, broken finger, ribs, left side of her face, palate/top of her jaw, left hip, pelvis, left femoral head, wrist, elbow, three vertebrae in her neck and a skull fracture as well as some brain bleeding/swelling and large lacerations in her arm and across her face/head.

Since arriving in Denver a few days ago, Jayden has remained in the coma and has had three surgeries so far. She's run into minor complications and they have had to terminate surgeries early due to her intercranial pressure spiking, but overall has remained stable otherwise. Jayden's neuro tests have all been promising, her spinal cord had no "dings" in it and she is able to move all extremities for us, so that has been extremely positive. Unfortunately she has a lot of surgeries still to come, including attempting to fix her hip and/or hip replacement, facial reconstruction, likely neck surgery and potentially on her arm as well.

Jayden is lucky she is alive. She's an incredibly tough girl who is very broken and we appreciate any and all support in the form of thoughts, prayers, love, vibes and help while she recovers and for the long road of travels and surgeries ahead.
