Help Jayme recover truck train accident
Donation protected
Hi, I am Jayme’s Aunt. February 28th started out like any other day for our family. At 5pm I received a phone call from my sister (Jayme’s mom) telling me he was in an accident - his semi with 45 head of cattle on board were struck by a train! Jayme was able to crawl out of the mangled mess of iron with a small brain bleed, partial collapsed lung, 8 fractured ribs, a separated shoulder and a compound fracture of his right leg. He had surgery on his leg. They had to put a rod in his leg to try and hold the bones in place and since that time he has been unable to do anything. He isn’t able to put any weight on his right leg and it’s a slow healing process due to the severity of the fracture.
He is self-employed and trucking is his main source of income and since the accident this is all on hold and he has no income at all.
I’m trying to help him through this tough time so he can focus on healing and getting back to work. If his leg doesn’t heal we’re not sure what will end up happening. It’s a long time of waiting and for any of you that know him, it’s a difficult time for him as he
goes 24-7 and now down to 0.
He has a doctor appointment coming up and we’re all hoping and praying for good news!
At this point he is in dire straights and any help he can get financially will be a great way to help him through this tough time. I can go to work everyday and make a few dollars - he can’t!
A huge thank you to any of you that are able to help Jayme out at this time! He’s a great nephew, dad and son and we’re all concerned about him at this time of waiting and healing.
