Help Jay's family find temporary accommodation

Thanks to everyone who has shared this appeal and donated, the Blakes have now found accommodation. This wouldn't have been possible without all your support, so a heartfelt thankyou to everyone in the Beaver community who has helped!

With the current economic climate, a lot of people are only one bad pay check, one bad month, or one unfortunate incident away from being in real difficulty, and sadly that situation has occurred for one of our Beaver family at Hampton & Richmond Borough FC.

Jay Blake, his wife Emily, and their two sons have recently found out they will have to leave their home, and with alternative permanent accommodation not available until early March, without a solution would end up homeless.

We believe strongly in that the local community can and should help one another, and Jay's family are proud residents of Richmond Borough. They have to remain with Richmond for their eldest son's school placement, as he has specific educational needs.

It would be fantastic to see the HRBFC community, the people of Richmond, and anyone else who believes that no one should be homeless in this city, come together to help a young family keep a roof over their head for the next six weeks.

We're putting together this GoFundMe to raise enough money to put the Blakes in an airbnb between this Friday and the second week of March when they are able to move into their permanent home.
