Help Jazdan "BABALOO" fight meningioma

On Tuesday, April 20, 2021, Jazdan informs her mother that her eyes are hurting and bothering her. On Wednesday, April 21, 2021, Jazdan "Babaloo" had an eye examination with her eye doctor who noticed something concerning. The doctor recommended to Jazdan's mother that she take Jazdan to Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children for an MRI to check on her findings. On Thursday, April 22, 2021, Jazdan checked in to Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children. After doctors did the MRI they found a 5-inch mass on Jazdan's left frontal lobe. On Sunday, April 25, 2021, Jazdan underwent a long 12-hour surgery. On Monday, April 26, 2021, while in recovering doctors informed both parents that during surgery Jazdan "Babaloo" suffered an MCA massive stroke on the left side of her brain and said that Jazdan wouldn't walk or talk again and to prepare themselves. On Tuesday, April 27, 2021, Jazdan was moved out of the ICU and to the pediatrics 2nd-floor where she could begin her recovery "Thank you, Jesus". On Monday, May 3, 2021, Jazdan has started speech and physical therapy at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children. Jazdan has a fighter spirit, she continues to surprise her doctors and family with her recovery. On Saturday, May 8, 2021, Jazdan spoke her first word "more" since her surgery. Since then Jazdan pushes herself to do and say more every day. However, Jazdan still needs YOUR help!

Due to the size of the tumor and where it was located the surgeon couldn't remove all of it. The portion that is left is 90% begin and 10% malignant. The recommendation to address this is radiation treatment. The best radiation treatment is at Seattle Children's hospital.  Proton therapy, also called proton beam therapy, is a type of radiation therapy. It uses protons rather than x-rays to treat cancer. Doctors here at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children are planning that Jazdan's treatment starts within 4-6 weeks. Before this, Jazdan will continue to work on her physical and speech therapy to prepare her for treatment in Seattle. Doctors say the treatment in Seattle will be for 6-8 weeks. 

All donations and help are needed as soon as possible, by June 7, 2021. Jazdan's Seattle treatment would run from the beginning of June 10, 2021, through July 31, 2021. The support will help both parents and family travel to Seattle to help and support Jazdan during her fight and recovery from meningioma.
