Help Jazzmine Attend NY Film Academy

(It’ll make sense when you get to know me. Lol)

My name is Jazzmine Williams and I am raising money to attend an 8 week Acting Intensive at New York Film Academy Online. Class starts September 13th which is fast approaching so I need your help!

A bit of background…

As long as I can remember, I’ve always been told “You should be on tv!”

Perhaps it was the way I told stories, reenacted scenes from my favorite movies, or spoke in different accents. Nonetheless, if I had a dollar for every time someone told me

“You should be an actress!”

I wouldn’t have to create this GoFundMe page yet here we are. Lol!

With that being said, I’ve gained a bit of experience over the years, acting in stage plays, commercials, doing background work on upcoming films and some of the biggest shows in tv history like

• Lightyears
• Ripple Effect
• Happily Never After
• Big Leap

Needless to say, I take this very seriously. Every second on set is a second to learn. While on my way to film“The Chi” this past spring, I asked God during prayer to highlight me to someone who can help take my career to where He wants it to be. While on set, one of the main characters started a conversation, asking about my journey as an actress. After giving me some pointers, they felt inclined to connect by taking me under that wing. After reviewing my headshots and providing some pointers on my résumé, my information was sent to their agent with a disclaimer that stated, “NO PROMISES!” Shortly thereafter, their agent requested that I audition for representation. I prepared my self tape, sending it in that night for review. The next morning I woke up to an email that provided feedback and a letter attached that read…

“Welcome to Hayes Talent!”

It is a well known fact that obtaining representation is the hardest part but God did it for me in less than 24hrs. OMG!!!

Since then, I’ve landed a social media campaign, pilot, and made it to the callback stage for major nationwide commercials.

Outside of “Acting 101” in high school, I’ve had no formal training whatsoever. All of what I’ve accomplished so far, is due to the favor of God, and raw talent. It’s time that we add technic to the mix and create a masterpiece!

The cost for the 8 week Intensive is $3600. Classes are interactive online, via zoom, Monday-Friday, so I MUST BE PRESENT in order to successfully complete the program and receive my certification.

As you may have noticed, my fundraising goal is $5000. In order for me to be present for class, I have to be unavailable to film so I will be without income for 8 weeks. Rest assured, all remaining funds will go towards my monthly expenses of $1600 so that I don’t screw up my very good credit and end up homeless.

With that being said, I will be signing up for class by August 31st or as soon as I hit my goal (whichever comes first) That way, I will have 2 weeks until class starts September 13th to mentally prepare myself for the intensity that this intensive will bring! NY Film Academy has produced some of the biggest names in the industry that are known around the world and please believe me when I say, I GOT NEXT!
