Help JD, My Service Dog beat cancer!

Donation protected

Hi everybody, my name is JD! Woof woof!

In January, my daddies had to take away one of my toes to keep me safe from something called melanoma. We thought we got it all, but last week, a tumor came back where my toe used to be! The doctor found more tumors all up my arm, and they say they need to take my whole arm off before it spreads to my lungs. I really don’t want to lose my leg, but if they don’t take it, I might only have about 9 months left to wag my tail in this world.

My daddies are building a new home with a big yard just for me to play in, but they didn’t expect that they’d have to take my arm too. If you can spare a few dollars to send to my daddy (whose life I’ve saved quite a few times!), I would really like to enjoy a cancer-free life and run around in my new big yard. Anything you can spare will go directly towards my procedures.

Thank you so much for helping me fight this quickly spreading cancer. I hope to be with you all for many more years, giving lots of love and kisses!

With much love and many kisses,

Jack Daniels

My name is Jaime, and I'm reaching out for help with my service dog, JD. Recently, JD was diagnosed with melanoma, and the only option to save his life is to amputate the affected limb. JD turned 13 this June, and I’ve had him since he was just 10 months old. He has been more than just a pet; he has been my constant companion and guardian.

On multiple occasions, JD has saved my life. Without him, I wouldn't be here today. I owe him my life and then some. Despite his cancer diagnosis, JD is in good health otherwise, and I know he still has years left in him. I can't imagine my life without him by my side.

As a US combat veteran, I have been incredibly fortunate to have JD by my side through countless battles with PTSD. He has been there for me during the darkest moments, providing the support and courage I needed to keep going. Now, it's my turn to be there for him.

The approximate cost of the surgery is about $12,000, which is beyond what I can afford alone. That's why I'm asking for your help. Any amount you can contribute will go directly towards JD's medical bills and post-surgery care. Your support means the world to both of us.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read our story and for any help you can provide.

With gratitude, Jaime
