Help Jean Pay for Life Extending Cancer Treatment

My name is Robert Cline. My sister Jean Wagner desperately needs your help. Jean has worked hard all her life, spending the last 30 years at ConAgra Foods in Russellville, AR. She is a devoted mother to her daughter Angie, a loving mate to her partner John, a much-beloved daughter to our elderly father and a ray of sunshine to our entire family. Within weeks of retirement in 2021, Jean was blind-sided with a diagnosis of inoperable stage 4 liver cancer (cholangiocarcinoma). She has faith in God and is putting up a good fight. But, so far, chemo treatments, etc. have taken a huge toll on every aspect of her life without improving her prognosis. According to her oncologist, Jean’s best and only hope is a life-extending, minimally invasive, outpatient Radioembolization (Y90) treatment specifically for liver cancer. Not only will it prolong her life, but it could also significantly improve the quality of the time she has left. However, the insurance company, to whom she has paid premiums for many years, has denied this procedure with little or no explanation.

According to radiologyinfo.org: Radioembolization is a minimally invasive procedure that combines embolization and radiation therapy to treat liver cancer. Tiny glass or resin beads filled with the radioactive isotope yttrium Y-90 are placed inside the blood vessels that feed a tumor. This blocks the supply of blood to the cancer cells and delivers a high dose of radiation to the tumor while sparing normal tissue. It can help extend the lives of patients with inoperable tumors and improve their quality of life.

The cost of the Radioembolization (Y90) procedure is approximately $32500. That is our goal. Please help us raise $32500 to help prolong the life of my sister, who has been failed by her insurance company.
