Help Jean Snider Rebuild After a Devastating Accident

Dear Friends and Community,

On July 4th, 2024, our lives were forever changed when a tragic motorcycle accident occurred at the intersection of Western and McCormick. A man ran a stop sign, causing a collision that took the life of my father, Jimmy Snider, a loving husband, father, and granddad. My mother, Jean Snider, was severely injured in the accident.

Jean’s injuries were extensive and life-altering. To save her life, doctors had to amputate her right leg. She also suffered a broken femur, a fractured and broken pelvis, a broken collarbone, and three fractured vertebrae in her back. The road to recovery will be long and challenging, but we are determined to support her every step of the way.

We are reaching out to you for help. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a tremendous difference in Jean’s recovery and daily living expenses. Funds will be used for medical bills, rehabilitation, and essential day-to-day needs, a motorized wheelchair for Jean, and assist with the cost of a new prosthetic leg.

Jean's daughter, Sarah, and her son-in-law, TJ, have selflessly offered to move in with her full-time to provide the care and support she needs. Sarah is currently pregnant with their second child, a baby girl named Sophie Jean, and while TJ works full-time, we will also be hiring a nurse to assist with Jean’s care.
