Help Jeanette Get a Scooter Lift!

Hi, this is Lori, and I’m raising funds for my friend and college roommate, Jeanette Early. She is in need of a lift for her vehicle that will load and unload the scooter that she needs for independent living.

Since having Covid for the first time back in 2020 (when she also tragically lost her precious brother Darrin), Jeanette has not been able to stay off supplemental oxygen. Jeanette was more recently diagnosed with congestive heart failure. These conditions have made it necessary for her to use a scooter for mobility.

It was so great to see her recently! Despite experiencing great loss and hardship, Jeanette has maintains such a positive outlook.

While spending time with Jeanette, I was happy to help her load the scooter into and out of her car. Guys, it was hard! That thing is SO HEAVY! I don’t think I could do it by myself, and she certainly shouldn’t try. I asked her what it would take to equip her car with a lift or crane to take care of it, so she did some homework.

To purchase the lift, the custom hitch required for the lift, and installation, I’m asking your help in raising $2,300.

This would be a huge blessing to Jeanette. Because she is no longer able to do her job in social services, Jeanette is depending on disability benefits.
