Help Jed Get Back On His Feet

On 25/07/22, during what should have been a 24 hour lay-over in Singapore, our dear friend Jethro Coldwell fell into an unforeseeable nightmare that left him unable to leave the country for four months, without access to his phone, pass port, or bank cards. His holding onto a fence with a sign reading ‘Prohibited Area’ for a tongue-in-cheek instagram photo ( with no intention of entering ) led to his arrest several hours later. The beginning of a four month nightmare, when it turned out that the sensitive area in question turned out to be the Singaporean president’s residence. He fell under a investigation deemed of ‘national security’ - a living nightmare one can barely imagine.

Bail demanded by the Singaporean authorities in order that he could remain on bail and not indefinately kept in a jail cell set him back $5000 AUD

( almost £3000 GBP ) which he has only now been able to pay off. Sadly this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of debts still left to repay, which is why we are asking for your help.

Jed's finances have been devastated as he waited indefinately for news of an end to the investigation, and he has only now been able to return to his current residence, Melbourne, Australia, FOUR months later. Jed is not one to ask for a hand out, and is working every hour round the clock to repay loans taken to pay legal fees and missed rent in Melbourne. He needs our help to get himself back on his feet, which is why we have set up this fund in the hope of meeting the repayments of his legal fees ( $ 3000 AUD ) , and missed rent in Australia ( $2000 AUD ) .
