Help Jeff and Angela Holler Pay Their Bills

A boy liked a girl, and then a man loved a woman. They made a life together. He holds her hand when she hears she has terminal cancer and endures rounds of cancer treatment.

 

Now the mortgage, hydro, heat, and house expenses are more than he can manage on his own.

 

Angela is in long-term care with a terminal cancer diagnosis. Her disability payments are paying for her care. Jeff is still working at Home Hardware but can’t make ends meet on his income alone. He needs assistance paying the mortgage, heat, hydro, and other household expenses.

 

My name is Rob Legge. I’ve known Jeff through the cycling community and events such as Kids of Steel. I heard about Jeff’s situation through the community and have set up this fundraiser to assist Jeff as he struggles with Angie’s diagnosis and illness. I am helping Jeff to make ends meet. We all know how much of a challenge this can be in today’s economy.

 

Childhood sweethearts Jeff and Angela recently celebrated 32 years of marriage. They live modestly in a small home they purchased a few years ago in Picton. Jeff’s primary mode of transportation is his bike, which gets him to work, shopping and visiting Angela at McFarland Home. She loves her arts and crafts and is a kind and caring soul. They are active members of a local church. They are not rich financially but are cared for and supported by friends and neighbours, who help when needed.

 

We hope that with Go Fund Me, Jeff can afford to remain in his home. Jeff has supported many events in the County, including the annual MS Ride. It’s time we gave him our support.
