Help Jeff and Family After Recent Emergency

Imagine having a moment’s notice in the middle of the night to evacuate your home you’ve raised your beautiful family in, the home you worked your whole life for, the home full of memories and things you hold dear, the home your kids feel safe and joyful in, only to watch it all burn to the ground on the news. That’s the sad case for my beloved cousin Jeff; his wife, Kaori; and their two adorable children, Sophie and Jace.

They are physically unharmed and we are so grateful for that, but they have a very long and expensive road ahead of them. They need to start their lives again from scratch! I can’t even imagine. I am asking for help from those who can to try to make this awful process a little less painful for them, especially their brilliant kids. They lost, literally, everything except the clothes on their backs, and they’re some of the best people I’ve ever known.
