Help Jeff and MC Through Cancer Recovery

Hi Folks!

After many months of not knowing why he was feeling so sick and being given incorrect medical information, Jeff Peterson finally learned that he has stomach cancer and will need surgery. Shortly after learning that he had stomach cancer MC and Jeff also learned that the tumor was infected. Fortunately, Jeff’s tumor type (GIST) is very operable. The subsequent treatment (Imatinib) is well-established and effective at targeting the specific genetic markers of his tumor, and is much gentler than other types of chemotherapy.

However, Jeff and MC have been through a tremendous amount of pain and stress and on top of everything this is all happening just days after they moved across the country, with a change of job and health insurance colliding at once to create a very administratively complicated time. Any amount of help you can give them at this time to ease this burden and help these wonderful caring creative people recover more peacefully will be deeply appreciated. Jeff and MC were hesitant to set up a go fund me when there are so many people in need at this time. They are so grateful for any kind of support you may want to offer.
