Help Jeff Radford Fight Brain Cancer
Donation protected
After a few weeks of not seeming like himself, my dad was diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma , which is a type of brain cancer. Up until that time he was very healthy and working full time. To say this was a shock is an understatement.
Now he has no income and the medical bills are piling up quickly. We are hopeful that he will be able to go back to work after treatment, but we don't have any answers yet. He starts inpatient chemo this Friday and then has to do it again in 3 weeks with another MRI. It has to be given in the hospital due to the high doses needed to reach his brain. Right now, he's had an ER visit, at least 2 CT scans, chest x-ray, 3 or 4 MRIs, a brain biopsy and 6 days in the hospital (about 14 days including upcoming chemo). After insurance, he will be responsible for approximately $16,000 of those bills.
My dad would never ask for his kind of help but he would be the first to help someone else in this situation. Any kind of assistance with this will mean that my mom can concentrate on caring for her husband and not worry so much about money right now. They are dealing with enough stress without adding bills into it. No one should have to worry about how to pay for a potentially life-saving treatment.
ANY help will be appreciated more than you know. If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing with others that might. Thank you!
