Thank you for your support New truck reveal Please be on the lookout for this very vague description of who stole Jeff's truck. I got a phone call just now that the thieves rear ended another car with the stolen truck. Thankfully, their injuries are minor. 2 men working as a team. The one that actually stole the truck is white, about 5'8", short dark hair, dark eyes. He was wearing a black shirt and khaki pants. His partner was in an old Ford Ranger that is said to be a mauve, pinkish, purple color. Thanks again, so very much. I hope those two get caught!

On Thursday, August 10, 2023, Jeff (my Dad) walked up to see two men stealing his work truck and trailer. One man hot-wired my 72 yr old Dad's truck, threatened him and rammed into him as my Dad tried to save all he uses to keep our employees working and provide for our family. My Dad isn't as agile as he was when he was younger and was no match for the thieves who sped away with his entire business.
On Saturday, August 12, he got a call from Portland police that his truck was burning in a neighborhood and destroyed.
My Dad has worked extremely hard to provide for his family and employees for over 50 years. The thieves not only stole his business but also took his spirit. When I heard his screaming and crying it was something I'd never heard before from my Dad, he was devastated and truly broken. It was like the world was swept from under his feet. I saw him in the street looking frail and dejected, something I never thought I'd see in my Dad.
My Dad isn't a quitter but this left him feeling unbelievably helpless and alone.
Being a general contractor is an unpredictable trade. The economy of the last few years has taken his entire savings.
My parents adopted me when I was six years old. My Dad is my hero and after what I witnessed and what he's gone through since getting the call that his only mode of work was in ashes, I feel helpless. I wanted to start this fundraiser to try to help a man that has spent his entire life supporting the people around him, family, friends, employees, and strangers alike.
Please consider helping me help my Dad, not only by regaining his business but also his faith in humanity and giving him back his fighting spirit.
I'm hoping to raise enough money, not only to replace what was taken but also to help my Dad move forward after this unbelievable assault and theft.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
