Help Jeff Sawyer Conquer Leukemia
Donation protected
Just under five years ago, Jeff was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. He has managed to battle this disease into remission, but the doctors believe that the medication used to treat the disease has now left him with a new diagnosis: Leukemia. Jeff once again is facing a long road to regain his health, starting with five weeks of intense chemotherapy sessions at Princess Magaret Hospital. Once he is finished with the initial treatments, he will begin an outpatient program that will require, at minimum, weekly visits back to PMH for treatment that will last for up to two years. Jeff is in great spirits, and his determination to beat this has already shown to be more impressive than his first triumph, and we are all convinced he will come out on top once again. The toll this treatment can have on the body can be severe, so the likelihood of him being able to work isn't great. We hope to raise funds to help Jeff with his living expenses and the additional costs associated with weekly trips to the hospital. We hope to relieve some of these financial burdens and keep his mind clear and focused on recovery. We realize the challenging economic times we are all in and appreciate any contribution and, just as importantly, some encouraging words. With the vast network of friends and family who love and support this guy, we're confident we can help him beat this once again.
