Help Jeff Snell Replace Stolen Luthier Tools

Hello, I'm fundraising to replace some very important tools that were recently stolen from me. As you may know, I'm an artist and a luthier, and the tools I use each day are integral to my work. The beautiful things I create can't be done without them.

The other evening I had a box in my vehicle that was packed with fixtures, jigs, tools and supplies for guitar building. My plan was to visit family and finish some work while I was away. I was leaving in a matter of hours and made the big mistake of not bringing the box into my home... the box was stolen.

Inside was an intricate routing fixture to accurately cut the bindings that go around the edges of an acoustic guitar. My router and all of my special bearings... along with heirloom chisels, Japanese chisels, digital calipers, etc. were inside. Some of the tools were being used and maintained by me for the past 25 years.

Insurance doesn't compensate for the loss, so I'm initiating this fundraiser to help replace what I can. I understand this was my dumb mistake and should have been more wise. If this past year would have been a good one, I wouldn't be asking for some help.
