Help Jeff Whited's Family Rise from the Ashes

Hello, my name is Rod Dukes and I am trying to raise funds for some very special people I've had the luck of knowing, Jeff Whited, and his family of 4. A little history on these great folks: they have, in the 5 years I've known them, gone out of their way to help their neighbors any way they can, from giving rides to Klamath to get groceries, working and repairing cars, to bringing them firewood, just to mention a few.

But as of lately, they have had some, let's say, terrible luck. Three years ago, during the Bootleg Fire, they lost everything there was on their 5-acre piece of what they called heaven. Well, unlike most of us, they overcame this setback, rolled up their sleeves, and began a whole new start.

Three days ago, and only days away from moving into their new cabin built by them with lumber they had on their property, another slap in their faces: a charging unit for their tools malfunctioned, blew up, and burned all of their 2 and a half years of hard work. It's gone again.

These are hard-working and giving folks, and they vowed to me they're not leaving but are going to finish their homestead no matter what is thrown in their path. Well, I know they will, so I'm trying to help by starting this fund in hope that they will succeed and show all how perseverance, belief, and hard work does pay off.
